@ indiechic - 20.08.14 - 06:49pm Why do people feel the need to correct peoples spelling and grammar mistakes online?? I find it really rude and offensive, especially when it's clearly type error Mis-steaks .. |

If I can understand what people say then fine I couldn't care less how people spell or punctuate. It's the same as if you're out and someone says a word wrong do you correct them or ignore it |

@ kipling - 20.08.14 - 07:24pm There is a few bullies on here who think just because they type good english they are more intelligent than the people who are not up to scratch with their grammer . Personally I just think it gets really annoying when people don't even make an effort to type clearly. Things can become harder to read when you use 'text speak' and it makes you look stupid. It also is a bad habit and wont help you when you need to write or type in a professional manner. Is it really that hard for people to type 'to' instead of '2'? |

@ kipling - 20.08.14 - 07:24pm There is a few bullies on here who think just because they type good english they are more intelligent than the people who are not up to scratch with their grammer . It's a reasonable assumption to make when people can't even grasp the language they've been speaking since they were toddlers.. And I've defended people who made glaring grammatical errors before on here.. people used to criticise samco for the way he spoke, despite the fact he was Norwegian and English wasn't his first language.. but it does irritate me that text speak has become the new (exceptionally low) societal standard.. ignorance and idiocy should not be accepted, or even tolerated, unless there is a genuine reason for it, such as dyslexia |
