I always thought it would be great if consumers themselves could be the prime beneficiaries when it comes to selling their info, that would be ideal. It's been in my mind that it should be that way for about 20 years now.

@ eyesore - 28.03.17 - 08:37am We're not talking random strangers though are we ....we're talking about inteligiance agencies having the power to access info about suspect people ....why on earth do you and others assume they would have the slightest interest in someone like you ....I assume you know what powers they already have? That's not how they work tho ,there are trigger words and key phrases sure , but there is random searching too , nsa operatives in the States were passing intimate photos about their offices not long ago like some kind of competition ....it's not the organisation ,so much as the individuals (strangers) tasked with it ... |

People often think they are more important than they are, we're all nobodies in the grand scheme of things, no1 is interested in our everyday conversations with our mates/family. Also as for marketing, the phone rings... 'are you due ppi?' the phone goes down, no drama. You get a letter,' interested in double glazing?' the letter goes in the bin, no drama. |

Post a backup of your phone here then. No drama. No one will care because you are just a nobody. |
