When you mute a chat on WhatsApp, does it just not make a sound when msgs cone thru or what? |

It means u won't hear the notification sound if a message comes thru...e.g. The sound is muted

No sound will be played when the person you've muted messages you. You also won't receive notifications from the muted chat (which is awesome) unless you select the option 'show notifications' whilst muting them. You'll still receive their messages upon opening the app, just no sounds/notifications.

you don't get any notification at all on messenger..I'm assuming whatsapp is the same
