tl:dr how do you shave and what with?

looking at everything i own i have to say the most embarrassing thing in my bathroom has to be these nasty plastic disposable razors.

i look at my overpriced pink plastic razor and i think to myself how they look like toys.. you know like kids have toy microwaves and vacuum cleaners? my lady razor looks like the same plastic crap

Time to grow up! I am an adult so i need an adult razor! I bought myself a safety razor, all pretty and shiny in stainless steel, all grown up! but what lubricant do i use with it? i dont like those aerosol cans cause again bad for the environment and i dont know what's in them or what the ingredients list even means... I'd like a more traditional or natural method... the internet just wants to sell me sh*t so doesnt help me decide and all the brushes and things baffle further.

How do i shave like a gentleman?
