Does the area where you live have Free Hourly Audible Chimes ect or Quarter hourly if your a bit Fkn Posh! Here several churches just chime on the the hour in said amount of strikes. Most are about 5 miles away and only hear them when its very Quiet, with just one within a mile distance that's very Audible and set so striking only between 8pm and 8am and silent otherwise. . Anyone have Westminster chimes in their area from a cathedrals tower etc. |

The church clock in town bongs on the hour, but the one on the village church doesn't bong at all. I can hear the church bells on Sunday mornings though, or weds evenings when the campanologists are practicing, if the wind is in the right direction. bloody row they make, if anyone else made that much noise on a Sunday morning they'd probably be arrested for breaching the peace.
