It was always doomed to fail. Some cultures don't want to mix forcing multiculturalism onto ppl is and always was a bad idea

Overall it's a good thing. In fact i enjoy being part of a diverse country that mixes many cultures.

I don't see why you have to 'mix' why not just respect others right to be and get on with life ? Our village is predominantly white and predominantly scottish and I only 'mix' with a small percentage of them to any great degree ...anti social behaviour is challenged ...other than that people just get on with their own lives ...

Exactly. You mix with who you please on a personal level and respect each other... Naturally not everyone e respects others but that is just a lack of manners and consideration for others |

I don't judge people on their culture. I see a person until they give me reason not too.

@ liambrwn - 17.10.17 - 03:16pm Examples of how its affected you positively? You always ask me for examples Liam. Okay. I've got to experience lots of new foods, learned about other cultures, visited temples and mosques met many people that I wouldn't have otherwise, made many new friends from as far afield as Africa, the Orient,India meeting these folk has sometimes broken through subtle prejudices i formerly held..its been a learning curve and a very positive experience for me. Can you tell me Liam of any negative aspects it's had on you personally? |
