@ silverjx - 23.11.17 - 11:09pm What's a load of bollox? .....wheat etc creating problems? Erm it's a medical fact that a lot of people can't handle it. Which can cause a lot of reactions. Now I have problem thyroids. So much I had to quit crash weight shakes because they caused my thyroids to go erratic....as for hormones...stuff like soy, evening primrose, lavender have been known to tip the balance to female hormones....my thyroid meds have been known to tip the balance to male hormones ie DHT...Which women take evening primrose to counteract....the other choice for medication is actually meat based ie pig intestines which the nhs doesn't prescribe but is supposed to be better then tyhroxin Dessicated thyroid comes from pigs thyroid. I'm just saying there's a lot of misinformation out there in the world, especially regarding the endocrine system. Things like iodine are most abundant in dairy but they don't tell you that. Soy is in almost every processed product. Modern diets can have a substantial effect on health but it would take excessive and prolonged amounts to cause irreversible damage. Or cutting out all these problem foods would surely see to improvement? The NHS does not know how to care for thyroid patients and the lab values and tests they use are but useless and outdated. We actually have no clue about how to treat the thyroid... Most commonly it's auto immune, which is stress triggered. You been checked for hashimotos? Thyroxine can suck a di ck too. T3 is far superior and the only hormone your body actually needs |

Soon as I quit I noticed those circle bald patches and got dupa . That's what made me go to the doctors, was a stand in doctor that told me not to be daft and nothing wrong..year or so later went back because got worse and more lethargic...So went to the docs again and ''guess what you have a dodgy thyroid'' wonder if smoking relaxed my immune response. |
