What if I wrote a song with the lyrics ''I hate Indians, they are a beastly people with a beastly religion''. Would those lyrics be deemed offensive? Worthy of jail time?

@ deusexmachina - 24.02.18 - 07:20pm If his B Side was called Someone kill Ogdemz because he fu*ks kids, would that be acceptable because they're just lyrics? Yes. Words are only words.I would of course sue the lyricist ..but yeah. After all I have no control over what someone says. |

Had someone listened to that song and then acted upon it would the performer not share some of the blamed. He has gone to the effort of writing, recording and performing it with the sole purpose of people hearing it and buying it.
