@ mikeymk - 14.08.18 - 10:57am Yep, and they're terribly overworked, so mistakes are gonna happen. These people are human, who doesnt make mistakes at work? Yes there are mistakes and then there are mistakes, but i think the focus should be in getting more support for struggling departments - not shooting anyone down who fails the impossible. If an incompetent mechanic does a repair 2 a car and his or her work is not up2 standard because he or she had alot of work on and u crash n get killed would u not expect him or her to go 2 jail ? And would u think he or she should ever b allowed 2 do car repairs again ? |

@ dan27notts - 13.08.18 - 10:58pm I dont trust half of these Africans 'qualifications' , in the past few years theres been a few getting high level work in the construction/transmission network industry i work in, all apparently have degrees but are absolutely clueless. First class degree from the university of Southampton. On that shift she was performing the role of 3 doctors and looking after 6 wards because they were short staffed and there was also a computer failure in the hospital. Mainly the systems fault |

@ ogdenz - 14.08.18 - 11:11am I read recently there's a 96 percent decrease in nurses registering to come work in the UK since the Brexit vote. Same will be true soon of Doctors I reckon. BWEXIT Making Bwitain Gweat Again. Good then we might actually have a drive to get more British people training to be doctors and nurses |

Being a good nurse is a vocation, a lot of foreign nurses are mercenary unfortunately, I don't really blame them but the system shouldn't allow it... We need to train more of our own

But many of our own either get fed up of the workload or go to places like Australia or America for better pay and conditions. Many simply cannot afford to work in London

@say.what | 14 August 18 | |
Well maybe when we stop the mass uncontrolled immigration, they will be able to live in London

@ 9362 - 14.08.18 - 07:05pm But many of our own either get fed up of the workload or go to places like Australia or America for better pay and conditions. Many simply cannot afford to work in London Based on that logic how do any of them work in London? And then what makes the foreign born NHS staff be able to afford to work in London? |

Its funny the number of student applications for nursing have fallen since the student bursary were scrapped.I dont no the ins and outs about the bursary .But it strange since this was taken away in 2017.Numbers have fallen.
