What is your opinion on this. Bystanders decided the first thing to do was to film an injured policeman knocked of his motorbike instead of helping. |

Its disgusting. Even in an attack that could be prevented or intervened in and ended, ppl would rather video it for entertainment purposes. |

Were they qualified first aiders or in the medical profession able to assist in any way? I'm shocked, someone should have shouted is there a doctor in the house?

This is not a new phenomena, it's an increasingly common symptom of a much wider problem within society. People these days are so addicted to their smartphones and social media that they are becoming disconnected from reality. It's the same thing with people who go to concerts to see live bands playing, then end up watching the whole thing on their phonescreen as they film it.

I'm too selfish to take photos or video, i rather just watch. I'll usually help in something if i see fit, but often that means i won't - it's not always best to intervene. Sometimes just your presence can be enough - there are times though when it's not a bad idea to be a cameraman... |

yea iv seen this happening, few weeks ago a woman was knocked over and later died when a cyclist ran her over, the cyclist got up and fkd off, leaving the woman on the ground about 20 ppl were standing round and 5 or 6 of them were videoing her dieing on the floor. I lean out my cab window and gave them a mouthfull of abuse. Scummy fkrs

Equally, there are times when being the cameraman could get you into all sorts of unintended bother. There are places where it's illegal to film the police and places where it's not but the police still do not like and may not appreciate being filmed. |
