rip gordon I remember way back when all this were trees, in about 1970 - 71 i saw him play against everton, he saved a penalty that day. If my memory serves me right everton still won 2 - 0

@ slwnoris - 12.02.19 - 11:55am I thought I would let someone else be the sad news bringer, he was 81, they been going on about the 1966 world cup win on the telly, shame the players England have now don't play with the pride and commitment they did back in 66 then we may will the world cup again, but today's players only play for the power of the pound and no pride playing for the country. players from back in the day smoked and drank like fishes, they didn't have more commitment, just slower opponents. |
