@ shadow27 - 16.02.19 - 10:56am I don't think you want nuclear waste floating around over there, no telling what it could be used for.. And at the rate your populace burn and destroy their infrastructure: no. We already have one nuclear plant. |

@ pmbguy - 17.02.19 - 08:29pm They're doing it so we'll all play along with future increases since we'll be so thankful to have power... Gonna be killing themselves though, like Telkom, just saw the new phone book, it's like a pamphlet compared to what it was 2 years ago, guess they've lost customers... Telkom is pretty decent nowadays, actually. Our wifi is with them, and my whole family has super awesome phones on very cheap contracts. We get to phone each other and all other Telkom numbers free of charge... None of that is possible without damn electricity though. |

@ crimson - 17.02.19 - 02:06pm My husband mentioned something interesting. We didn't have loadshedding for some time, until the increase in electricity prices was denied. Then loadshedding returned, they're doing it to punish us. I have said this many times. a lot of ppl are saying this. every time they want an increase expect load shedding just after that. they want to bring us to our knees. |

This is the only reason it's happening. Always before they go before NERSA to ask for an increase. No load shedding since Thursday, what possible technical solution did they find to suddenly stop it? None, because the whole thing is manufactured. The budget speech is also this week.

Expecting load shedding to return the next day in that case, n guessing unions definitely going to throw their toys out of the cot this time too... |
