@ tazdevil - 21.03.19 - 12:00am In all seriousness though, creeps should definitely be reported. Of course, what they did (and to what extent) matters a lot. Police intervention is not always necessary, but I can't understand why anyone would think that a lesser offence should be ignored simply because more serious ones exist? (my friend's logic lol) Unwanted sexual remarks/touching is assault, and passing it off as trivial 'men will be men' behaviour creates an environment where more serious offences are more likely. People deal with assault cases (cat-calling, forced kissing, groping/being touched in a nightclub or public transport etc) on a daily basis, and think it's part and parcel of life because it's so normalized. I think it's easier when it's a once off. if it happens everyday with the same person. or even different ppl, I think that will make one want to start dishing out snotklappe |
