We would take it over to the football field and ride round on it. I learnt to ride a motorbike on one of those mind you that fella that dosnt have a tellys leccy bike may go faster |

The earth is turning as well as travelling. So one side is travelling faster than the other. If i was travelling in the same direction on the faster side of the earth, then i'd be travelling faster than the earth.

I will start with the slowest fastest speed i have travellf at, just touching 80mph in a vauxhall viva driving school car on a 7mile long straight road going home from a lesson, the instructor always let me give it a bit of welly. The next was 112 mph in a mates Austin Westminster, (ex police car) ELT851C, (wonder if that car still out there, and the fastest was on the High Speed Train from cornwall to durham.
