@ eyesore - 23.07.19 - 03:20pm If you want a hard/No deal brexit then this is the man for the job If he delivers what the people voted for then he'd have done his job. He can resign on November 1st if he wants after that. |

If he intervened then it would be 'Trump helps UK and expects them to join war with Iran.' You should be happy he's given you an easy way out now. Not that I believe he even wants war, recent reports say he's got Bolton on a short leash. I don't see much criticism of Iran's actions from the left, especially as they're only bolstering the neocon argument in Washington, quite stupidly on their part. |

The sabre rattling doesn't bother me anymore ....it's anyone thinking ,post brexit , that America will be our 'go to ' |

@ obi_jon - 23.07.19 - 02:26pm I've heard it said that, if this were to happen then it would technically be upto the queen herself, in the absence of her governmental representatives in parliament, to make the decision on whether or not the UK leaves the EU. Well , the queen has to agree to close parliament anyhoo What I don't get is ...brexit is supposedly , overall , about regain our sovereignty. ..our control over our affairs ...so closing down the house of OUR representatives ( therefore shutting out our voice) to force through an unpopular act is not only unacceptably undemocratic but bordering on dictatorship ... |

@ 3mel - 23.07.19 - 04:55pm Boris is a moral coward and serial screw up who only stood for the leave campaign because he didn't expect to win. he wrote a pro remain article the day before declaring his pro leave support. when the result came in, he hid. Tories who've worked with him say his only interest is his personal ambition and he'll be an international laughing stock of thoughtless incompetence. he will however deliver a no deal brexit, if for no other reason than him being unlikely to reach an agreement on anything in the miniscule time remaining. cue the recession without the same chances of recovery within a few years and his emergence as our worst leader in recorded history. I didn't say I either like him or wanted him to be pm . I don't and he wouldn't of been my choice for pm either |

@ eyesore - 23.07.19 - 03:20pm If you want a hard/No deal brexit then this is the man for the job And how would he get that through parliament? You have to remember this is the man who prepared two speeches for the referendum and only ever does anything that will further his career or benefit him. We know for a fact no deal brexit will be bad for the UK. |
