We walked for about 11 hours yesterday, crossing several stations and checkpoint, but our main destination was the legislature building located close to another building under which mainland affairs were carried out. We were yelling with anger, calling for the chief executive to be deported back to mainland instead and trailed, seeing as she wants to give this power to Beijing. This is outside the main police headquarters. |

There were hundreds of police officers standing outside the headquarters ready to fight the crowd, ready to resort to violence. The crowd swears them, spews hatred at them, tells them that they stand for the oppressors. They waiver the slogan over which you could see a man bleeding on the ground as if he was barely alive.

What surprised me most on this day of protest after the incidents last week was that all the shops were open for business. Amidst such a large crowd, people opened their shops and operated business as if it was a usual day. It was an uncanny level of faith put in us to do the right thing and not take steps that would be against our own best interests We grabbed some water and food from the store ahead and walked consistently for 7 more hours after. |

There were 3 such groups all marching from different roads to the same point inevitably. We occupied the roads. We occupied the bridges. People were seated everywhere, guitars were being played, a low beat of drum kept playing, celebrities were on the road, human rights advocates kept protesting and we all stood by them. We spoke to strangers and gained insight. We learned something, but most importantly we recognised the strength that comes from unity. |

Over 2 million people out on the streets. And it was a peaceful protest . Faith in humanity restored.

The most amazing moment was as we were breathing heavily and sweating profusely amidst a large crowd. I saw a large group of people over a pedestrian bridge looking down at us, and I asked my friend what they were doing just standing there, and he glances at me and says, ''they are all coming down here to join us'' moments like this capture humanity so perfectly. |

We stand together with you. Well, I definitely do. I do worry about what Beijing will do, they have not been threatened like this in 30 years.. And we all know what they did then. |

I doubt China would ever agree to that again. And we certainly wouldn't ever defeat China again.
