We've won 3 out of the 7 world cups we've appeared in. Not bad.

1995 Will always be the most memorable, but in terms of the performance this was our best win, especially coming against the best team of the tournament.

94.19 is our current rating, only bested by New Zeand, noone else. 96.57 is the best of all time, set by NZ back in 10 October 2016. 8 September 2003 was when this current system of rating each team was first implemented, more accurately reflecting the current state of each team. We had a low of into the 80.ish |

NZ were top in World Rugby Union for a record period of 508 weeks (from 16 November 2009 to 19 August 2019). Wales became the top ranked team for the first time after defeating England at Cardiff in a World Cup 2019 warm-up test in August, following on a streak in which they won 15 of 16 tests, including a Six Nations Grand Slam. After this the top spot has been shuffling a number of times with us now no. 1. lol |
