There's far more lucrative government grants than the dole. That's a pittance. |

@ propidol - 14.10.19 - 08:56pm I claim the tax thing for washing my PPE. My employer automatically does that for us. 60 a year is better than nothing |

The owner of the company I work for told me too but I had to do it myself. He isn't exactly hands on.

Whatever I'm 'entitled' to, I already have (or had) it. Just need UNISA degree if it's possible I take what is given (don't moan about that others should rather have it) - we are all measly 'blips' in the spectrum of time.. Battle of the fittest and all that ish |

@ mikeymk - 14.10.19 - 03:26pm Cash from the government... probably, yeah. Depends though. If a charity owed it and I had to apply, it's not like I'd bother to. I'm entitled to nothing, the brat's mum gets all that. I see that as different though. 29yrs of full time work is a fkn lot of income tax specifically penned for such things. the brats mum |

@ crimson - 14.10.19 - 03:55pm I don't bother claiming benefits, even though I have an illness that is considered to be a disability in some countries. There are other people who need the money more, I'm just fine without it. It's really easy to claim It's the people managing the system that are squandering the money Even people not from SA (like from Somalia) that are getting child support grants like crazy My previous NPO college arranges food bank program each year (the mielie meal goes to the maid's family) - Malawians |
