According to the latest amendment to The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) Regulations 2020 bill which will today be laid down in law couples living separately are not allowed to have sex indoors or to stay overnight at each others homes.

With this legislation now in place, no person may participate in a gathering which takes place in a public or private place outdoors, and consists of more than six persons, or indoors, and consists of two or more persons. It is also now illegal to stay somewhere outside of your home overnight without reasonable excuse. Such excuses may include moving house, attending funerals, work reasons, care provision or emergency assistance.

if that's true it's utterly contradicted by the relaxing of restrictions today that allow for people from different households to now meet for small gatherings.
