Jesus, its been so long, dont rem the name. I think I had that book for about a year or two before I actually brought it back. I only rem that cause it was my last actual book from the library. |

I had to tell a librarian to 'Stop shouting in the library' when she accused me of not returning books.

The last time i borrowed a book from the library was in the late 1980s. I was mad on cars as a kid, and read every car book in the library. I was also big on pencil drawing, and would take books home to do drawings of the car pictures. The last object i borrowed from the library wasn't a book, though. I was into music, which included electronic stuff of the time. It made more sense to borrow tapes and kite them off through my twin-tape hi-fi... I stopped doing this when i got a car and mates brought their tapes to the dashboard, door bins, footwells, etc. The last time i was up in the library, which is upstairs in MK, was in the late '90s. It was to use a computer to do something, possibly my CV. I was in the local history office downstairs quite recently though, researching stuff for MK's 50th birthday. |
