Mine is still very much a Yorkshire accent. People have said they can hear a bit of a Scottish twng in it now. Sometimes The Mrs has to translate what a Glaswegian is saying for me. |

I was 7/8 when I moved here, new kid on the block, hadnt a clue about village life, I was shy, quiet n soft spoken, my accent didnt change as such, maybe a bit more slang, some folk dont understand that we dont all talk the same way in Scotland my Mammy still has a strong Glaswegian accent, jeez think she moved from (up hame) as she still calls it, in her early 20's n shes 79
