@ 9362 - 29.05.19 - 12:40pm So says John Cleese. Is that necessarily a bad thing though? Love the English historical aspects of it but also like places like Brixton market and Chinatown but has there been too much change? If it's not English what is it ? |

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7230823/Police-accused-brutality-video-hitting-man.html again note the difference https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7230823/Police-accused-brutality-video-hitting-man.html Police were accused of brutality last night after a video showed them hitting a man arrested for 'parking on a single yellow line' on an east London street. In the footage the two officers can be seen struggling with the man on a street in Tower Hamlets on Tuesday afternoon. Social media users claimed the incident began when the man parked his car on a single yellow line. It was alleged the man - who was thought to be with his wife and two children - was told by officers he was not allowed to park there, but he responded he had a blue badge and was allowed to park there. However officers disagreed and attempted to arrest him, leading to a protracted struggle, which left the man needing hospital treatment. yep all equal under the law |

Saw that during the night, video doesn't show the start of it kicking off, so no idea if the guy was being aggressive and deserved being taken to the floor. The cops looked like they didn't have a clue, and made a total mess of detaining him. His wife's screaming done my nut in |

His wife's screaming done my nut in i don't know or care how it started tbh, dodgy parking or not it still dhows a massive disparity with how police treat different sections of society one lot can hold police hostage with no consequences others can't even park |

That's actually true. Question is, why?
