Well peta, it can be used as a source. If millions of people are reading a particular book, there must be something to it. It might appeal to you or not. I discover loads of book and authors through there. On a side note, next book i'm getting is Tyson. Seen a chap reading it, it interest me immediately.

I picked up 'Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen' by H.Beam Piper and started re-reading it. Brilliant sci-fi author, he was working on a series of stories and books in a kind of future terran history.. sadly committed suicide before he became more well known.
