I've never measured so I wouldn't know what is the average or anything to get an idea, but lots. I walk almost everywhere I go around town here.

Dunno.... Never gave it much thought... I do loads of walking... 2 hours a day down the nature trail with the dogs.. Lurchers love to run then snooze... I walk into the next village to do shopping or go to town to do a big food shop.. Plus having grand kids keep me on my toes lol

My brother has a step counter app on his phone, he does over 10000 steps a day during the week.

set my vivofit to 11000 almost always way exceed it , however must admit this week ive thrice done just about 5000 due to be busy with some jobs about the house. .You sure know when you've managed 40000 in a day |

I went camping with lots of dogs last year. My fitbit clocked up over 1000 steps in pats alone

Depends. Sometimes it's 12000, sometimes it's barely a 100
