@ liambrwn - 8.12.17 - 08:41am The whole thing of not being able to get to work due to snow is a typical lazy British thing. You arent at school, so please, if it ever snows, make an effort to get to work. It isnt fair on your boss using weak excuses to take time off work No! |

@ liambrwn - 8.12.17 - 09:22am Use your sick days for genuine reasons, be more efficient for your work. Slightly tricky, awkward or lazy days, like you are hoping for now is also false economy and efficiency for yourself. When you scive as you do, upon returning to work this will create a presenteeism effect from yourself. So youre not only screw*ng your company whilst off but also when you return. This is, unfortunately, an attitude of the British women workforce It is not classed as sick days,Im salaried so I get paid wether Im there or not, obviously I have to try to get too work,I do not drive and rely on public transport quite often we are cut off when it is very heavy snow, some days I need to travel lots of miles to far out rural areas,my company have strategies in place for this very thing so the world wont stop turning because an act of god stops me getting to work, but keep trying to think you are goading me,you arent. |
