Long story short. I was in the woods with my dog and he ran to the edge of a clearing. He was barking and growling at something so I called his name and said come here. A voice replied with the exact words I said but in a London accent. I said another sentence and the voice echoed what I said again in a London accent. I decided to get out of there asap. A few days later I found out my friend had died on the day of the dog incident. He was from London and had the same name as my dog.

I think for Prop and Birdy it was the random intense experience for you guys, the shock. My daughter nearly died several times in one day, and i went on to perform life-saving actions on her regularly. But that was just normal for me. Even the first time she went blue in hospital, when the nurse froze, i just picked her up and pulled her tongue out her throat, second nature style. It was a bit scary here and there, of course. But it was a case of just instantly conditioning myself to it and maintaining that. |

I think I was in shock for about a week, which allowed me to just do what needed to be done without being too emotional. It's the aftermath that has sucked for me. and all of us.

There was a brief holy fu*k oh sh*t oh sh*t moment when I got glassed in the neck before realising the collar on my leather coat had taken the brunt and I wasn't hurt.

I've had a few close calls at the hands of another person myself, that's a different type of fear, adrenalin turns you into a bit of a machine and it becomes more about how dead you can get them before they kill you. lol

@ vamp.boy25x - 22.05.19 - 09:32pm Lol, I can't sleep, so I posted this topic wondering what experiences have you had in life that you would call truly scary? The inspiration for this topic came from a harrowing experience a few days ago, I had quite a few share of scary experiences, this one's the most recent one. I was having exams and I went to the supermarket, which was quite crowded to get some energy drink off of the shelf, and suddenly from the corner of my eyes, I felt like I saw a black figure walk past by, as I glanced forward, I saw this woman in the supermarket a few feet from me in the same lane, and as soon as my eyes fell on her, she stared back at me. Her hair was loose and dark, she wore some kind of black clothing I can't quite explain what garment it was. It felt like I was staring at something truly evil. Her eyes were bright red and she suddenly had this grimace of smile all across her and she approached me. I literally fell back as fear overcame me. I walked away and quickly gathered my stuff, yet as I left the supermarket, Iooked back I saw her standing at the counter, and she pointed her finger and mocked me with a mad laughter. It was harrowing to say the least. Is it mental illness? Probably. Or perhaps I experienced the sight of a woman who wasn't really there. Lmao. Just kidding. But in any case, has any stranger on the streets irked you in such a horrible way that fear overcame you? What are your experiences? Please tell us. Sounds like one of those hungry ghosts? Yao Guai. |

This is how you become a hungry ghost, apparently.. 'One story is of a rich man who traveled selling sugar-cane juice. One day a monk came to his house looking for some juice to cure an illness. The man had to leave, so he instructed his wife to give the monk the drink in his absence. Instead of doing this, she secretly urinated in the monk's bowl, added sugar cane juice to it and gave it to the monk. The monk was not deceived, he poured out the bowl and left. When the wife died she was reborn as a hungry ghost.' |

Oh right, Yao Guai are more like animal spirits things. Which is also where the Japanese get their 'Yokai'.. Only just figured out the connection there.

@ bozzalad - 22.05.19 - 10:02pm energy drinks..... and no Well it was either that or addral or actually studying 6 months in advance and scoring a distinction by the time exams drew nearer. And we all know anything works but the last option. |
