Mu may be imaginary, but there are some very odd structures out in the Pacific. Nan Madol, for instance.

Look at a map, turn the clock back 10,000 years or so and look at how big some of the continents/islands are.

Basalt logs that make up the walls of Nan Madol can weigh as much 50 tonnes. Archaelogists can't explain exactly how it was constructed. There were no pulleys, levers or metal used in the construction. Let alone the sheer manpower needed to shift those weights..
