@ dodgey - 26.10.19 - 06:06pm Brewdog sounds like a brand that would interest you due to the name having the word dog in it. A bit too hipster for old Kipling, I'm thinking. |

@ crail - 26.10.19 - 06:23pm I find it quite bitter I think it's the lack of hop that makes it relatively sweet for me, I find hoppy beers quite overpowering. |

I can't drink proper beer on hot days anymore, not since my lager days. Ice cold Carlsberg or Coke |

You guys whom like craft beers perhaps need to try experiment with homebrew You decide the final taste, depending on ingredients and temperature, time. . Start with extract brewing ,then same, perhaps with some additions .. Whole grain brewing is the final stage .It's expensive , equipment and very time consuming and requires experience, so gets better with time. The rewards are drinkable I haven't brewed anything for over 12 months myself.. |

Prism, session NEIPA by Atom Brewery(4.5'/.) Hazy and highly hopped, citrus and peach flavours. Disco King, IPA by Turning Point Brewery(5.1'/.) Tropical fruit flavours, far too easy to drink, an absolute belter. Massive Azacc, Azacca NE pale ale by Arbor(5.4'/.). Crisp and refreshing, clean tasting, hippy but not bitter. Faked Alaska(Raspberry Edition), pudding IPA by Arbor(6'/.). Bright red colour, super fruity raspberry flavour with just a hint of vanilla on the finish. Quite tart but just sweet enough not to be sour tasting. Very nice but don't think i'd want to drink too much of it. |

Off to an old dairy farm later that has been converted to a craft beer brewery with a tap room.

@ tranie - 7.12.19 - 12:04pm Bumping this topic for later, gonna be in Bruges and going to be drinking a lot of Trappist brews, but mostly I will be enjoying kriek beer. How many is a lot? Lol! Trappist beers are ok, my dad is a big fan of them and goes to Belgium, he was there for the Grand prix this year and had a day before that trying the beers . I got him a selection box of different trappist beers and a glass for his birthday. |
