Mum used to ride, only time she was involved in an accident was when she was on the back.

Thanks phal just watched it.. it happens so fast..the car driver was mad doing that manouvre or whatever he was doing on that busy road. You can see other vehicles zipping past at regular intervals.

The car driver was doing a perfectly ordinary manoeuvre, Rose. That was a junction, the car was taking a right turn. The video starts with the biker illegally overtaking a short but tall car despite the markings on the road being of the impending junction, so this short but tall car would've obscured the driver's view originally with the bike being behind it. For them, the bike came out of nowhere. The on-coming car was not a risk, they were free to pull across only two seconds earlier. The biker didn't really give anyone a chance, and people riding at this level are on their own with how they manage to avoid traffic. |

i'll make sure i don't race my bike through junctions at 100mph anymore....

I didnt notice that it was a junction. The biker should definitely have slowed rather than try n overtake at that point and at that speed.

Btw Why was he wearing a helmet fitted with a headcam?
|
||
@mandain | 5 September 14 | |
Same reason as skydivers with a headcam? Cause he knows he will be going fast and it will make good viewing?

Hypocritical pricks who are saddened by this yet break road laws themselves and laugh at injuries and deaths of cyclists.
