@ ladibud - 20.04.20 - 01:10pm yes many white ppl can and do get SASSA.. I never said anything about SASSA... But I your father earns above a certain amount and if you have a house that's worth a lot, you won't get SASSA... when you apply they require all this info, including 3 months bank statements, not from a new bank account... so either you don't stay in an affluent area or your parent don't get SASSA. They look at your combined income bracket when your are married. You need to qualify for it. you won't get it if you have a house in good area and are self employed earning more than X amount a month. We don't earn much. My dad's almost 70 Many pensioners from our area are on SASSA, they flock to the stores every beginning of month. |

@ ufohunter - 20.04.20 - 01:03pm Yes I am poor (live with my parents) My mom doesn't work, my dad still does accounting from home. We got the house in 1990 for R200 000 It is worth much more It's by luck I live in this area. A suburb close by has very poor people. Yes, we visit government hospitals and clinics because we can. My dad's a pensioner I'm screwed if they had to die now. My older sister and her husband will leave both my brother and I on the streets if that had to happen. My mom is trying to prevent that I'm not registered as employed anywhere. I just do stock on Sundays. 12 hours Below minimum wage too The bulk of my money is from elsewhere going by what you always claim to buy, games and what not (not second hand, from stores) then you could afford your own place... you don't have cheap hobbies. (if I am to belive all you are always claiming to buy) then you are very very far from poor and destitute should your parent pass... this is why I say, with you it's a different life every day. |

I waste my money on video games because I'm an addict. I could choose alcohol or drugs but nope. I buy electronic things. I don't do anything else. I only have R2 200 each month to spend. Can't rent Yes, I could've bought a car long ago |
