Is utopia achievable? Or is it at best a hippie pipe dream? Your thoughts. |

Well Thomas More thought so but his and mine ideas are vastly different on what it would be.

honestly, i think it is a pipe dream, greed of man will not allow an utopia for anybody unfortunately.

Interesting, propidol, could you perhaps give us a brief of thomas mores version of Utopia and how yours differ?

But if it were obtainable Ummati, what kind of utopia could you envisage for humanity?

@ cathar13 - 22.11.12 - 07:49am But if it were obtainable Ummati, what kind of utopia could you envisage for humanity? a place where freedom of all types exist, freedom of religion, of race, no poverty, where orphans n widows are taken off without asking. |

You need to define utopia first, it would be different for different people.

On a global scale i dont think it can. There will always be arrid countries where people will struggle to grow crops. There will always be monsoon. There will always be hypothermia and pestillance. On an upbeat note, i'm only a 2 hour flight from Girona

Okay but what if the other places that can grow crops share with other places that can't urvoice?
