In ancient mythology it was customary for dying-rising saviors and other god-like figures to have virgin mothers who were impregnated miraculously. Some of these legends predate Christianity up to 3,000 years. Such sacred virgins include Neith from ancient Egypt, Hera from Greece and Chimalman, mother of the Aztec savior Quetzalcoatl. The story of Christ's birth doesn't seem to be unique and original that it doesn't seem to be recorded from real unique events either. Thoughts? xD
