@ n1ck - 24.01.14 - 03:09pm We're ''at a level where we can determine the value of life''? Well, clearly ''we've'' determined that life has very little value. Go back to my opening post for the basis of my argument. There is no argument. You are over reacting to a nothing story. Unless you can show me where killing babies out of the womb is seriously neing considered with actual facts and stuff I would put it down to a christian fundamentalists paranoid fantasies |

yeah, there's currently little support for killing babies that survive the womb. There is only support for killing them while they're in the womb.

but we're making progress on mercy killings. support is steadily rising for euthanasia.

I read a story of a depressed person who was granted the right to euthanasia because of depression.. the person was depressed because of a botched sex change operation.

and I read a story about how the husband of a pregnant woman whose brain dead is suing a hospital in Texas because they want to try to save the baby before switching off the machines. I read the comments on that story. many people were outraged that the hospital would try to save the baby. they also had sympathy for the husband whose suing the hospital to turn off the machines and make 100 percent sure the baby does not survive.
