@ endemic - 13.07.17 - 10:07pm Reading 'Arabic Grammar Made Easy' by Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips. I picked it up at a local Musjid. I'm a self-proclaimed religious scholar and am into Middle Eastern culture, music and language. Can recite Surah al-Fatiha. Great! |

That book 'Arabic Grammar Made Easy' is a bit advanced. I need his earlier book 'Arabic Reading and Writing Made Easy' Read this tract yesterday on the life of Muhammad pbuh I need to understand him and what he did to understand Islam. So my plan is: read up all that there is on The Prophet, his companions and other Islamic history. Learn the basics of Islam. Learn to read and understand Arabic. Make friends with Muslims in person. Maybe that's more important. Having a friend that is Muslim would make everything else much easier. |

@ iminuru - 14.07.17 - 04:46am I have seen a very amazing and astonishing consequence of reciting sura Al-Fatiha by the non-muslims.. If they recite it on daily bases, they convert to Islam one day. I can recite it in Arabic and in English lol |

@ endemic - 19.07.17 - 12:43pm That book 'Arabic Grammar Made Easy' is a bit advanced. Maybe that's more important. Having a friend that is Muslim would make everything else much easier. There is a book ''Al raheeq-ul-Makhtum'', (The Sealed Nectar) by (Molana) Safi ur Rahman Mubarakpuri (india). I like it very much, recommend it as a biography of the Prophet of Islam (s.a.w). I highly recommend it. A Apostle/Prophet/Nabi is guided By Allah Himself, so in my opinion, at least I cannot understand, How and what'' of the very way an apostal/prophet is taught/guided. 4instance Abraham (Ibrahim a.s.) was born in a pagans home in a pagan society, ruled by a pagan. So 4 me its almost impossible 2 understand how He became a monotheist (believing in an unseen Allah) in his very early age long before He was appointed, ''Apostle''. It is what I think, guidance is. Its just an enlightenment in some1s heart, what I understand. (Holy Quran 17:97). It isn't true ''You cannot question'', but Allah Himself has taught the way of questioning, 4instance, (Holy Quran 2:260 and 2:259). You got the point? no? Be obedient and think of/as, ''If I don't know or understand a point, its my fault, not that the point is wrong/questionable in itself''. and then beg Allah 2 show me, what is the truth/fact, with a strong deep firm belief that I will be guided. This is how to get guidance, but it requires a long patience some times too. The scholars says that a major part of belief is, ''Every thing that has happened, is happening or will happen, Allah is aware of it, controlling it and has decided it and that we are 2 face Allah on the day of judgement, i.e. every1 will be accounted''. then comes the consequences. When some1 is firm in his belief on/in an All alone Almighty Allah, he/she, does his every act/deed for Allah, holds for Allah, leaves for Allah, Accept/follow for Allah, abstain for Allah, from morning till next morning, lives for Allah, even dies for Allah, then comes the rewards, (Holy Quran 89:27 up to 89:30) There is much 2 say but, for the time being I think it is enough. Wish You best of luck |

(https://goo.gl/trvUzL) Saudi prince arrested by furious King Salman after video showing him viciously beating blood-soaked men and women. This kind of men are responsible for the bad name of a whole community. The Holy Quran says, And if Allah had extended [excessively] provision for His servants, they would have committed tyranny throughout the earth. But He sends [it] down in an amount which He wills. Indeed He is, of His servants, Acquainted and Seeing.(Holy Quran 42:27) |
