I've listened to a few sermons by prosperity preachers. There's not a whole lot of gospel there, the sermons are usually about self help etc. So you can view it as a service. Someone gives money and receives mass therapy.

They do help some people. They help a lot of people of you think about it. I'm speaking from a secular point of view. Not from a religious, the absolute truth point of view. If you think about it. It's a nice family day, you meet friends and family. You hear music. You get all sorts of free advice. But you don't want to pay for it? No way, why should Britney Spears be a multi millionaire, but a preacher -false or not - must be broke?
