@ogdenz Let's say this universe is caused by a mother universe and the mother universe is caused by another mother universe and so on to infinity. What is the cause of every universe? If this chain of cause has no end, we have no reason to believe this universe is caused by a mother universe. You'll logically never end up with justification of a single cause.
