You should read the Alchemist by Paolo Cohelio. It's really easy and it explains very well what you want to know.

@ skatty - 12.02.16 - 05:24pm It pumps blood around your body, there's nothing more to it than that. Everything else is in your head. That's the biological organ. I haven't yet come across a concise definition for the sociological/psychological Heart. |

@ sunwun - 4.02.16 - 03:52pm Follow your heart and follow your gut are often being used interchangeably. Therefore, in this context, heart means your intuitions and/or inner feelings which are often used to decide what is right or wrong. The word heart in this case is deeper than surface emotions which are subjected to external or physical stimuli. Surface emotions? You mean feelings that are associated with thoughts, or memories? |

@ evenstevens - 12.02.16 - 05:14pm Anybody? What IS the relationship between thoughts and feelings? The heart and the mind. Feelings precede thoughts. The rational mind acts as an interpreter of feelings/intuitions. |
