jupiter ok. Cause there is a power saving campaign in the UK n probably in many other countries around the world to switch off the mains even when a charger is plugged in... I always do it now. I never leave anything on standby either like TVs etc.

You connot create or destroy BUT just cause it cools down who says its not still even slightly warmer than it would be if unplugged therefor it does still use although not much it stil does..

Why dont u guys r not realizing that a switch mood charger automatically shuts down when the charge is full......But, these chargers hav a high resistance in the input stage because of the internal capacitors and resistors. So even if the charge is full it will still consume a little bit power (under 1W, so we can consider it as zero consumption) which causes it to become slightly warmer than normal......CLEAR?
