Weird how people reply without reading previous responses. He did say the 10 sec trick worked. The phone has this inbuilt capability. I second what biggzy said. I also can not get at my laptops battery. They all make for sleek solid devices.

but there only designed to last about 12 months because thats about the life your get if used and charged every day. also i really can forgive nokia for that cheap plastic hdmi cover that is just gonna fall off anyway.

I think you will find that the batteries are not designed to conck out after 12 months, particularly when most people hold on to their handset for a couple of years. But I suggest people do not get it if you suddenly think a plastic hdmi cover will fall off when the n-series have had plastic flaps since conception for memory-cards, sim-cards, battery covers and the rest. i remember my n70 had a very plastic flap on it that fell off. The ngage qd had these rubber flaps. I should be designing phones at nokia. Send me the application forms please
