None give you a pin. Pingchat gives username. Dont know if there is symbian version. Whatsapp uses your real number so don't give it to virtuals. Pingchat can also be unreliable. .

I think you are rather stupid to be asking for BlackBerryMessaging for Nokia. Do blackberiz have OVI contacts . . . Dont be dumb, bbm is for them, we nokia have OVI. @dani that application is not bbm and wont allow you to chat with bbm either but will only let you chat to people who also have it.

Yes the other person has to have the app as well. Ping works on android BB and iPhone but not symbian I have found. However whatsapp works on all four platforms.
