The disconnection clause was removed from the final bill. But it has been replaced with a site blocking clause.

A similar law was passed in france and sweden ,Its had the opposite effect and piracy has actually increased lol

Ahh at least thats better then, not managed to read over the entire bill yet though. Site blocking isnt too bad, though I feel still site blocking reminds me of the way china handles their net.

wouldnt this bill increase the usage of annonymous p2p software...??? cos i seen couple of adverts now for them... such as the ipredator, located in sweden n a canadian... both say that traffic is encrypted n isps wont have a clue whats what and whos who...

i would like to see p2p software with some sort of 256 bit encryption software . it would make traffic monitoring impossible imo

But they still can't monitor your traffic though, can they? They would be illegal under international laws. Or am I wrong? FTP will be the way I start to get my warez. At the moment I am above a computer shop and I'm using their internet.
