hardc*re gamer... As a developer of a private mmorpg server (which also runs on linux) i find windows utterly useless for completing my daily tasks. Run a script at my pc and the test server gets the latest source code, compiles it and restarts with the updated core. Same applies for the production server (except the restarting part). A conky script is always showing the latest 30 log messages of the gameserver on my desktop. Not to mention the almighty 'terminal'. Different people - diffe

I don't like mac at all, it's too overpriced 4 my liking. Windows is just perfect me! As mogo said 'different people, different needs.

how much of an advantage does Mac have over Widows in the multimedia dept since PC also does have multicore processors etc? is there any real performance difference and is it worth the price? I really like the look and feel of a Mac but i dont feel the price is justified.

I too am a seven user, and use ubuntu for fun, i don't have a mac, but calling mac cr*p is absolutely stupid, many professionals like photographers can't live without mac, so obviously there must be a reason

Rohan...i am a professional photographer and i dont see the need for a mac. in the days wen windows ran on single core and mac on dual there was a difference. playing field is quite even now. the 1st thing dat puts me off a mac for photography use is the reflective screen. non reflective screens are far more accurate.
