Sometimes this happens to me. I close the lid to put it on standby, then start it up again and it's ok. Is it a loose wire? |

if u havent checked, check your power options in performance and maintenance in control panel. in my lappy it shows options 4 lid closed. may b u find something there.

Thanks for your help. It is people like you who make Prodigits worthwhile. I have updated graphics and it may have been the problem.
