haha, to do anything in most complicated way is linux i think, and development is too slow thats why you will not find it intresting or useful. anyway why not you boot your DVD and when you see the partitions format that linux partiotion and install windows 7 on that, that's it. is it too difficult? :)

i think this I could handle. I'm looking how I could make a new partiton on this linux if there is still maybe a chance to keep mandriva if i maybe use it sometimes. otherwise i will just do what you just said

Look for a Gparted live cd or parted magic live cd, then boot from it

make a bootable USB stick and put Ubuntu linux on it. Boot ur pc from the USB stick. No need to partition any hard disk then.

is installing within windows a good idea? cause linux can do that too and it would be probably faster than usb. its said that it installs like any other program, say, like installing a video game

Well yeah u can installl it like a program and uninstall it when u finish. But what i did was to partition the drive first while installing win7 then after installing 7 i just install my opensuse linux on the free partition and that was it now i got them dual booted. And u can use any windows exe file if u got wine installed in linux so thus making win7 not neccessary but its all up to u

Inbox lovelite he just loves Linux. So much so he got really upset when Sony removed being able to use it on the PS3. So upset he must know everything there is to know about Linux.
