I'm looking forward to buy a new laptop mainly for the office work (non-gamin). Windows and preferably touch screen. I had my eyes on Surface Pro, but I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks |

its not all roses with macs though: 1) as new versions of OSX continually appear some programs will not run under previous versions and hardware requirements for new versions can sometimes prevent you from updating the OSX version. in comparison a windows machine will enjoy better future support. 2) having a Mac may also restrict you from running some software. in comparison Windows runs almost anything.

3) Macs are only good while they are relatively new so unless you can afford a new replacement on a fairly regular basis avoid like the plague because most machines cannot be upgraded. those are the facts like it or lump it.

its absolutely true and if you know anything at all about Macs you would already know! But you go on believing what you wish cos everyone is entitled to believe what they want. You will find out in a few years lol. Your just trying to justify your large outlay, which I have to admit I would do if I was in your shoes. Macs are only aimed at the wealthy who can afford to replace them on a regular basis. If your one of those people that's fine, but if not its an entirely different kettle of fish.
