If You would like to take risk, Just disassemble the keyboard. Clean it, You will learn something new too and most probably You will be able to repair it.

don't hesitate, better watch a few videos, on how to use a SCREW DRIVER. I am not joking. until and unless you have tools, and a little courage. it isn't difficult. Believe me You will be enjoying your work, but you must have a technical mind/approach.

Very easy workaround, always refer to yourself in the third person while typing
