I have the asus strix version of the 1070 and i love that thing. Its cool and mostly fans are off when not gaming. Thats the feature all of them have i think. Otherwise it looks great. The rgb is nice and customizable. Can set it to change after music etc in the Aura app.

I think it's going to be the Asus 1060 6gb rog strix. Going to go for the oc model as even though I know nothing about over clocking it's only 5 more and has faster factory clock speed

i have the oc version also. It will mostly stay way higher with gpu boost clockspeed also when you switch to oc mode in Asus gpu tweak2. Mine was sold as 1860 MHz on OC mode but boosts to 2025mhz when gaming and stays on 62c the hottest i have seen it.

I really don't need to upgrade, but it's addictive.

If you are in the uk you can get a RX480 for under 150 pounds which is a steal to be honest

https Probably go for this, it's already overclocked and you will get a game with it to flog. Bargain. GTX1060 6GB would be my preference because they overclock so well but you will pay at least 30 pounds more to get a decent one and it's questionable if it's worth the extra. You will not get better price/performance than the card in my link. |

That same card can be found for 150 pound
