You may use a GPRS mobile phone as modem for a computer and thus connect to Internet. That way you can view both web pages meant for computers and (most) web pages meant for mobile phones. Viewing pages for mobile phones depends on the computer browser's ability to read pages for mobile phones. The connection between phone and computer may be via cable, infrared, or wireless.

If your computer is connected via cable to Internet using ADSL (or whatever option used) then pages for both computers and mobile phones can be viewed too. Beware that servers can detect what kind of browser the computer says it has. This may be used by a server to decide whether to send a page for computers or a page for mobile phones.

There are others with much experience using phone as modem in this forum. I expect you will be able to get advice. By the way, there's USB plug-ins with GPRS/3G and SMS sometimes available very cheap (locked to one phone company). Like a phone but without voice, screen, buttons etc.
