I am a catholic born and bred. I even went to a convent school. In the Bible we are told not to worship idols. Are the statues in our church not idols? We are told to pray to God through Jesus, the living God. Why do we then pray to Mary and the Saints? Is Mary living or is she just a soul? Are the rosary beads not a form of idols? Why can we not just recite the prayers without the beads? |

hi 4seasons.knowledge begins with de desire 2 know.we pray through Mary & not to Mary.Mary is just our interssessor remember Jesus performed His first miracle through intersession. Our salvation began with the angelic salutation Hail Mary... about prayers to saints read on the process of canonaisation.Mary is living Christ obtaine 4 us eternal life and our God is the God of the living and not of the dead.we use the rosary as a method of prayer praying using rosary is not superstitious at all.
