from the law of floatation mas of objt =mas of water dissplace Ms = Mw from density D=mas,M/volum,V M=DV so it becoms DsVs=DwVw the volum of submerg part of the objt is equal volum of water displace i.e V=Vs the above eqn becoms DsVs=DwV which is V/Vs=Ds/Dw hence the answer
